Welcome to Still Waters! We are James and Denise, and together with our two daughters, Sofia and Giulia, and our English Springer Spaniel Léo, our family shares a passion for travel and the outdoors. Our years of experience and exploration around the world have led us to turn Still Waters Estate into our own escape into nature, so that we can share our love of adventure with others. James enjoys spending time with his family especially on a hike or driving an ATV with his girls on the mountain of the property. You can often find him building something new in his workshop, planting a new crop or beautifying the property with his tractor while Léo follows him around! After a long day of working the land, James looks forward to relaxing with his girls by the fire pit. Denise has a passion for hospitality, and enjoys cooking for family and friends, hiking with James, and gardening. The girls enjoy hiking adventures on the mountain, riding horses and playing music. They are always ready to spend time with their father learning new skills in maintaining the property. Together we all share a passion for reading and the creek has provided a perfect backdrop for this peaceful activity. As a family who spent many years abroad in Europe, we love languages and speak Italian and French. We look forward to welcoming you to Still Waters, and we are committed to making our home the springboard for your new adventures, memories, and unforgettable events.
Many locals know about this mountain gem. For years, as Stillhouse Manor, it served local families in their special moments of life such as weddings and family gatherings. It also provided hunting grounds and horse riding events. It was designed with adventure in mind. The numerous hiking and riding trails have seen generations of avid explorers pass through.
After many years, the property has acquired a new mission which builds upon the inviting atmosphere already so well established by the previous owner.
We are honored to continue to provide a beautiful place for many of these same amenities and are excited to present the new and improved grounds.
